2025 High School Course Registration

High school course registration for 2025-26 has begun in Bellingham Public Schools. High school counselors are working with students in grades 9 to 11 to pick their classes for next school year and to support individual pathways to graduation.

Graduation requirements, registration information and the High School Course Catalog are available online. The catalog includes course names, descriptions, credits and applicable prerequisites. Every district high school offers a wide variety of courses in which students can “discover and develop their passions,” as described in the vision of The Bellingham Promise.

Incoming grade nine

Registration for incoming grade nine students begins in March. High school counselors will visit eighth graders at their middle schools to register them for their ninth-grade classes.

Grade eight students and their families are also invited to high school information nights in March. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. High schools are excited to welcome you. Scheduled dates are:

  • Bellingham High School, 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10
  • Options High School, 6 p.m. Thursday, March 13 (for incoming grade 9 and other interested students)
  • Sehome High School: 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10
  • Squalicum High School: 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 10
