A Message from Superintendent Greg Baker

Dear students, staff, families and community,

The end of the school year can feel like a bit of a whirlwind, so I hope you have been enjoying celebrations to mark our last days together.

Last week, we celebrated our class of 2025 with four graduation ceremonies at Civic Stadium. I encourage you to watch the live stream events and/or peruse photos from Options, Bellingham, Sehome and Squalicum high school graduations.

Graduation is such an amazing event; there is so much joy and pride for our students, staff and families, and this day represents our students’ hard work and perseverance.

Also at Civic, our fifth graders recently competed in the 53^rd annual fifth grade track & field meet.

A big thank you to all the work our staff and many helpers put into these events to get our students ready and across the finish line (both literally and figuratively!).

Remember, the first day of school for next year is now Tuesday, Sept. 2 for grades 1-12. You can see our calendar update.
