A Message from the Department of Teaching and Learning 

Dear Native American and Alaska Native families, 

We are honored to invite you to a community gathering as part of our district's Title VI Indian Education Formula Grant application process. This important event will take place at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 1. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for community connections and light refreshments. 

Join us as we share updates on our journey toward the Title VI application. This is a time to learn about the program, ask questions, and strengthen our community ties. Your presence is an essential part of creating a program that honors and empowers our Indigenous/Native American and Alaska Native students. We welcome your voice—your stories and guidance will help shape this effort. 

We will have 506 forms available for families who would like to submit. We will also have an area set up with children’s books and coloring pages.
