A Message from Superintendent Greg Baker

Dear students, staff, families and community,

I want to recognize a group of people who care deeply about our students, schools, district and community: our amazing school board.

January is School Board Recognition Month, and I want to take this opportunity to acknowledge our board’s love, leadership and support. Jenn Mason, Scott Ritchey, Camille Diaz Hackler, Katie Rose and Doug Benjamin are extremely dedicated, and we are fortunate that they serve as a unified, high-functioning board.

Our board members are elected officials who volunteer their time to serve.

At their meeting on Jan. 16, we presented cards with student art and flowers to show our gratitude. This year’s card highlighted preschool students in our new Early Learning Center in the District Office, underscoring the focus on all students from our earliest learners to our soon-to-be graduates.
 

I believe that part of the magic that makes our district great is our board. Please join me in thanking our directors and sending them appreciation for their work.
